Jeff is a Marketing Mentor and Designer. As a Certified Action Plan Marketing Coach he is qualified to assist you in developing and implementing your marketing plan. He also has the ability to create the communication materials to inform and attract your prospects. For example he created this website. Jeff's credentials include:

As an independent designer Jeff has first-hand experience with the challenges professional service businesses have with marketing. After starting out on his own he soon realized there is a large degree of misunderstanding when it comes to marketing, sales and marketing communications. Many people he worked with were put into marketing roles without a clear understanding of what to do and how design and marketing work together.

Tired of designing ineffective websites and marketing materials that just looked good, Jeff went on a mission to learn as much about marketing as he could. He took classes such as Fundamentals of Sales and Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Principles of Marketing, International Marketing, Positioning and Brand Development and Effective Presentations.

Prior to Marklar Jeff worked as a senior designer at Liquid Agency - a brand marketing agency in San Jose where he developed comprehensive brand identity campaigns. Before Liquid Jeff worked at Fierro Design as a designer and illustrator. At Fierro Design he illustrated the packaging for Duraflame's Crackleflame. Jeff is also an accomplished photographer and beach volleyball player. He likes spending time with wife Wendy (marketing communications manager), hanging out with friends and family, driving his Mini Cooper, and using Macintosh computers.
